  Big Axe brews a solid, drinkable beer. I have never had a beer here that I was underwhelmed nor overwhelmed by. They have a beautiful location on the corner of Main Street which earns them a bonus star. Worth a stop for a pint or two while in Nisswa.

  Great atmosphere with attention to the bar tap design. The brews are good and they have a restaurant right next door to grab a bite to eat. Lots of shops are in walking distance of this little downtown location.

  Such good beer! We refilled our growlers last time and bought a bottle of the fire cat habanero IPA, intending to take it back to the cities with us. But we ended up drinking it, because it is such good beer. So we stopped back in on our way home and purchased two more bottles. One of our growlers is the chipotle stout. Also good.

  Very nice Mosaic IPA! I asked and was told it was the brewers own recipe(duh?) and was seasonal(bummer). I'll be back for more that! Keep it coming! Tasted similar to Toppling Goliath Pompeii. Which is something! Had a sipper of the bourbon stout as well, not bad, it's off to a good start there. I'm sure it will only get better. My Wife liked the beers better than Gull Dam, as did I.
  
  Excited to come back, although the limited seating does suck. If you keep brewing good beer you'll need more space soon.
